Who can become a PMI member?

You do not need to have any special education or experience in project management to become a PMI member. Anyone with an interest in project management or working in a project-related job can become a PMI member.

Which PMI membership should I choose?

PMI offers several membership options:

  1. Individual Membership. This is one of the most popular membership options for anyone interested in project management. The annual membership price is $139.
  2. Student Membership. This is a special PMI program for students. The annual membership fee is $32.
  3. Retiree membership . If you have completed your professional career and have had an individual membership for at least five consecutive years, then you can use the passive membership method. The annual membership price is 65 USD.
  4. Group Membership. This is a special form of membership for organizations and universities that purchase at least 15 individual memberships at a time. More information about group membership https://www.pmi.org/membership/join/group

Regardless of which of the above membership types you choose, you can additionally become a member of a local PMI chapter. The annual membership fee for the PMI Lithuania Chapter is 20 USD. You can purchase this membership at any time, but it will not be valid longer than the basic PMI membership. Importantly, if you do not have a valid PMI membership, you will not be able to become a member of a local PMI chapter.
